Welcome to the Lion Inn
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at the Lion Inn. The traditional and relaxed atmosphere, along with spacious dining areas, will give you an experience to remember. With the conservatory and enclosed beer garden, the Lion Inn, run by Avril and her team since 2004, is a great place for family celebrations, a cosy meal for two or a social gathering with old friends. A variety of locally brewed ales (Cask Marque approved) are available from the bar, served by our friendly staff who are attentive to your every need.

We adore dogs here at the Lion Inn, so if you and your pooch would like to relax inside a warm and welcoming pub, please pop in. We stock doggy treats to make their visit as enjoyable as yours. Please do let us know, when booking a table, that you are bringing them with you so we can accommodate you in our dog friendly area.
In the Kitchen
We have a choice of food to accommodate all eating styles such as our Meal Deal (2 light bite meals for £18), our infamous Hunters Chicken, our delicious homemade Lasagne and our popular homemade Chicken Curry. We also offer vegetarian and gluten free options, daily specials including the homemade Lion Burger and homemade Pie of the Week , along with a children's menu. A selection of puddings, ice creams and hot beverages, including homemade delectable desserts, are available. We have introduced a Sunday menu as it's our busiest day of the week so we advise booking to avoid disappointment. All our food is home cooked to order and is often described as a mouth watering visual delight.
